Here are links describing some of the exciting past exhibits shown at the Coffey County Historical Museum.

Organized in January, 1997, the Kansas Association of Straw Artists seeks to promote straw art, wheat weaving, and wheat plaiting in the State of Kansas.  We are please to present the Kansas Association of Straw Artists Traveling Museum.

Lewis and Clark: Gifts of the  Mandan”, consisting of over thirty items replicating various artifacts collected by the expedition was on display at The Coffey County Historical Museum  from October 4, 2004 to November 18th 2004

Yesterday's Tomorrows: Past Visions of the American Future, a traveling exhibition that explores the history of the future--our expectations and beliefs about things to come. From ray guns to robots, to nuclear powered cars, to the Atom-Bomb house, to predictions and inventions that went awry, "Yesterday's Tomorrows" helps us understand the values and hopes Americans hold and have held about the years to come.  "Yesterday's Tomorrows" was on exhibit at the Coffey County Historical Museum from June 21 - August 2, 2002.

During the Summer of 2004, The Coffey County Historical Museum was pleased to host Carla Hanson's Spirit of the Mask Collection.  The mask on display were from 30 different countries on five different continents and from nine Native American Nations including Bali, Burma, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Bolivia, The Ivory Coast, Mexico, New Guinea and Zaire.

During the Spring of 2006, the Coffey County Historical Museum was pleased to host the "K is for Kansas" exhibit; illustrating significant cultural and natural aspect of Kansas history.
